Euler/X Server - Logic-Based Alignment of Biological Taxonomies

Welcome to the homepage of the Euler/X Server, hosted collaboratively by the Ludaescher Lab at the University of California at Davis and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the taxonbytes Lab at Arizona State University. The server was activated in September, 2014, and will be developed into an increasingly open, accessible, and scalable service for reasoning over taxonomic concepts.

The Euler/X server is located at It will facilitate web-based access to the full range of Euler/X toolkit reasoning services, which are presently also available as an Open Source desktop toolkit at While the server is already functional internally, we are currently working on adequate front-end and file sharing solutions that can be available to external users.

For further information on the Euler/X approach and the theory and practice of concept taxonomy, please refer to this link.
